Dragon Berry Smoothie Bowl

This is hands down my favorite smoothie bowl recipe when I’m in a place where I can actually source the right ingredients for it.

I love how rich this concoction is in antioxidants. Plus, it’s like eating ice cream for breakfast in the yummiest and healthiest way possible.

Hot tip is to buy organic frozen fruit instead of fresh, as it’s MUCH cheaper and still the same quality.

Usually I’m one to advocate for all fresh everything, but since finding good organic frozen product- my viewpoint has shifted, especially when it comes to bang for the buck.

But, you do you! Either way, I prefer to freeze my fruit for a thicker, more ice cream-like consistency.

Ingredients

Smoothie:
Organic overripe bananas
Organic pink dragonfruit
Organic mixed berries (black berries, raspberries, blue berries and strawberries)
Organic coconut milk

Toppings:
Organic cacao nibs
Organic hemp seeds
Organic fresh blueberries

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, add frozen bananas, berries, and dragon fruit. Use quantities of each to your liking. I typically use 1 banana for every bowl I’m making, and then roughly equal amounts of berries and dragon fruit.

2. Splash with coconut milk (or any milk) to your liking. If you like it to have more of a creamy taste, use more. I usually just use a bit to help blend the frozen bits more easily.

3. Blend until creamy and smooth.

4. Add toppings of your choice. I used hemp seeds, cacao nibs, and fresh blueberries.

ENJOY!
