Chunky Brownie Protein Nice Cream
We all love a sweet treat, don’t we? I mean, c’mon, even my friends who don’t have a sweet tooth love to indulge in the goodness of nice cream once in a while. Think of it like the soft serve you just can’t live without.
The best thing about nice cream is that it’s super affordable, and has ingredients that are readily accessible. Plus, you can always get creative with it by adding your own little touches and additives.
Chunky Brownie Protein Nice Cream
Ok ok, first things first- I hope you’ve already made my sweet potato brownies on their own, because I’m pretty sure that is my FAVORITE recipe of all time.
Secondly, if it’s still hot as heck where you are- then you’ll appreciate this nice cream rendition. Actually, even if it’s not hot where you are, you’ll still appreciate the nice cream, because it’s just plain good.
Plus, it’s super filling. Especially when you add protein! I’m providing a vegan recipe with Yoursuper protein, but you can always make yours non-vegan by using whey protein, or any other chocolate protein powder of choice.
Don’t forget that you can also add protein without powder by using extra peanut butter or almond butter, too. Or, you can always just sprinkle nuts or seeds of your choice on as a topping.
While you typically can’t find protein ice cream, you can also add more protein to regular ‘ole ice cream with the nuts, nut butter, or seeds trick.

Chunky Brownie Protein Nice Cream Ingredients
Nice Cream:
- 2 frozen bananas (make sure you peel before freezing, otherwise you’ll never be able to open them!)
- 1 cup frozen coconut meat or coconut flakes (coconut meat is ideal for a creamy, thick texture. But if you can’t find frozen coconut meat, then use the coconut flakes, instead.)
- 1/4 cup Non-dairy milk of choice (I’ve used banana milk, oat milk, or almond milk in the past, and they’ve all been delicious!)
- 1 tablespoon of Skinny Portion by YourSuper (or any other kind of protein powder that you prefer.)
Vegan, Gluten Free, Refined Sugar Free Brownies:
- Please follow this recipe for all details.
- Freeze the brownies after baking so they’re hard and ready to be added to the nice cream.
- For extra chocolatey goodness, feel free to add chunks of dark chocolate, or extra cacao powder.
Chunky Monkey Nice Cream Instructions
- Make sure bananas, coconut meat & brownies are frozen & hard. This will ensure you get a nice and thick consistency when you make your nice cream.
- Add frozen bananas, frozen coconut meat, and milk of choice into a high speed blender or food processor.
- Blend all the ingredients until they’re thick and even.
- Feel free to sub out milk for water, or leave out protein altogether. Additionally, feel free to add vanilla or cinnamon for added flavor.
- Once blended, scoop into a bowl and crumble frozen brownies into the nice cream.
