You don't need more certifications to become a better yoga teacher.

You need a better understanding of how students learn.

The Craft Of Teaching Yoga

Most yoga teachers think the next training will finally give them the confidence they're looking for.

More anatomy.

More philosophy.

More pose breakdowns.

More information.

And while those things absolutely have value, they often aren't the missing piece.

Because confidence doesn't come from knowing more.

Confidence comes from understanding how to communicate what you already know.

It comes from creating classes that feel intentional.

It comes from helping students connect to their own experience.

And that's exactly what this training is designed to teach.

The year was 2015

I had just graduated from my first 200-hour yoga teacher training, and I jumped into teaching yoga classes pretty regularly.

I knew the poses, and I knew the anatomy from my training. I was taught how to get my students from Point A to Point B.

Yet still, something still felt off.

My students were moving, but I wasn't always sure they were connecting.

Then one day after class, a student walked up to me and said:

"For the first time, I actually understood what I was supposed to feel."

That comment stayed with me.

Not because the cue was particularly brilliant. Honestly, I don't even remember exactly what I said. But I remember what it taught me.

Teaching yoga isn't about telling people what to do.

It's about helping them understand what they're experiencing.

And once I understood that, everything changed.

Great Yoga Cueing Isn't About Saying More

It's About Helping Students Understand More

The best cue isn't the longest cue.

It isn't the most anatomical cue.

And it certainly isn't the cue that makes you sound the smartest.

The best cue is the one that creates understanding.

The one that helps a student finally connect to what they're feeling.

The one that makes a pose click.

Inside this training, we'll explore not only what to say, but why you're saying it.

Because once you understand the purpose behind your cues, your teaching becomes clearer, more effective, and more impactful.

My Yoga Classes Used To Feel Like A Collection Of Poses.

When I first started teaching, I built classes the same way many new teachers do.

I'd pick a peak pose. Then I'd start plugging things in.

A lunge. A twist. A standing balance. A hip opener. A backbend.

Nothing was technically wrong. But if I'm honest, it often felt random.

I wasn't building an experience. I was building a checklist.

Everything changed when I started asking a different question.

Instead of asking, “What poses should I teach?"

I started asking, "Where am I trying to take people?"

That single shift changed everything.

Great Yoga Sequencing Isn't About Poses…

It's About Purpose

Every pose should have a reason for being there.

Every transition should support what comes next.

Every section of class should contribute to a larger experience.

Because sequencing is storytelling.

And the most memorable classes are the ones that feel intentional from beginning to end.

Inside this 100-hour continued education training, you'll learn how to sequence classes that flow naturally, support student understanding, and create a deeper overall experience.

Somewhere Along The Way, Many Yoga Teachers Lose Their Voice

We start sounding like our teachers.

Or we start sounding like Instagram.

Then we start sounding like everyone else.

And eventually, we forget what we actually want to say.

But students don't come back because you're the most polished teacher in the room.

They come back because they connect with you.

Your perspective.

Your energy.

Your approach.

Your voice.

One of the biggest goals of this 100-hour continued education training is helping you uncover the teacher you already are beneath all the noise.

This 100-Hour Training Focuses On Three Essential Teaching Skills

A Training Created By A Teacher, For Teachers

Over the last decade, I've taught thousands of students around the world.

I've led retreats internationally.

Built multiple successful yoga businesses.

Created advanced teacher trainings.

And trained more than 1,000 yoga teachers.

But more importantly, I've spent years asking one simple question:

What actually makes students connect?

This 100-hour continued education training is the result of those answers.

  • "The cueing section alone was worth the investment. My students are understanding poses more deeply, asking fewer confused questions, and reporting stronger mind-body connection during class."

    —Alex G.

  • "I thought I needed more anatomy. What I actually needed was a better understanding of how to communicate. This training gave me exactly that."

    —Kerry V.

  • "After ten years of teaching, I wasn't expecting to learn much. I was wrong. This training helped me refine skills I use every single time I step into a classroom."

    —Sterling

  • "I've never felt more confident teaching. My classes flow better, my students are responding more positively, and I no longer spend hours second-guessing every sequence I create."

    —Olivia H.

  • "I finally understand that great teaching isn't about saying more. It's about saying the right things at the right time. That alone changed everything, and my classes are better than ever."

    —Ellie

Who This 100-Hour Yoga Training Is For

Common Questions

"Do I need teaching experience?"

No. The concepts can be applied whether you're newly certified or have been teaching for years.

"Will this help me feel more confident teaching?"

That's exactly the goal.

"Is this Yoga Alliance approved continuing education?"

No. Yoga Alliance has proven not to be in integrity with the values of our yoga school when it comes to quality control of training. In fact, most students we see come from Yoga Alliance trainings and feel underprepared to teach, and need more training as a result.

"How long do I have access?"

Lifetime access. This training is fully self-paced, and you’re able to revisit it time and time again.

Real Teaching Transformation Happens When You Stop Trying To Sound Like Other Teachers…

And Start Trusting Your Own Voice.

  • "I've taken countless trainings over the years, but this was the first one that actually changed the way I teach. My cueing became clearer, my sequencing became more intentional, and my students immediately noticed the difference. I left every module with practical tools I could apply right away."

    —Julia

  • "Before this training, I spent hours planning classes and still felt unsure if they made sense. The sequencing modules completely transformed my approach. Now every class feels purposeful, cohesive, and much easier to create."

    —Yvonne

  • "This training helped me stop teaching from memorized scripts and start teaching from a place of authenticity. For the first time, I feel like my classes actually sound like me."

    —Shelby G.

  • "The cueing section alone was worth the investment. My students are understanding poses more deeply, asking fewer confused questions, and reporting stronger mind-body connection during class."

    —Alex G.

A Personal Note

As many of you know, I'll be closing my yoga school in January 2027.

That means this 100-hour continued education yoga training, along with all of my teacher education programs, will eventually be retired.

Everyone who enrolls before then receives lifetime access.

So even after the school closes, you'll always have access to the material whenever you need support, inspiration, or guidance.
